Our team

Yassin Jama is the owner of Yassin’s Home, the first culturally appropriate home in the United States serving the East African, West African, and Islamic communities. With partner Abdul Kareem Behi, this was the first culturally sensitive home in the United States. If not the world. we have brushed off from that humble beginning to yassin’s home inc. Yassin recognized the importance of cultural sensitivity in providing care and services to individuals. What cultures sensitivity is important we have learned that genuine care is the secret sauce regardless of the client or staff language religion gender. Yassin believes in a holistic approach to care, focusing on meeting clients where they are and helping them navigate decisions. We believe all success is due to the client who makes the effort when possible, and we are nothing but an assistant that provides our client with information to make a decision about their choices within our recommendations, Yassin attributes the success of Yassin’s Home to the dedicated team of individuals who genuinely care about the well-being of their clients. With almost 20 years of experience in the field, Yassin continues to serve the community and embrace opportunities for growth and learning.
