At Yassin’s Home Inc., we strive to make the admissions process as smooth and efficient as possible for our clients. Here’s how our admission process works
Yassin’s Home Inc. accepts referrals from in-patient psychiatric hospitals, clinical professionals, families, friends, and associates for our psychiatric residential treatment program, independent living program, and day treatment program. Self-referrals are also welcome. We encourage you to reach out to discuss your specific needs as our programming is tailored to support special circumstances.
Prospective clients are required to have an interview with the Company President and a member of our support team as part of the admission process. The assessment will take place in person, and arrangements can be made for hospital assessments if needed. The interview typically lasts about an hour and covers past and present physical and mental health history, symptoms, hospitalizations, treatment programs, criminal records, and substance use.
While each individual is unique, clients can potentially complete the admission process within 48 hours of acceptance. In some cases, completion of all documentation and requirements may take a week or two. To expedite admissions, we recommend faxing all necessary forms in advance and having a simple physical exam ready.
We highly recommend potential clients tour our campus to get a firsthand look at our programming and facilities. This allows for a better understanding of our services and gives an opportunity for family members and support team members to address any concerns or ask questions. Tours can be scheduled at any time during the admission process.
After admission, clients will be set with an intake date and assisted with the move-in process by our program and support team. An intake meeting will take place on the move-in day to sign necessary documentation, establish local providers, and ensure a comfortable transition into the home. Yassin’s Home Inc. will then provide a comprehensive Care Plan and Treatment Plan, taking into consideration input from family, therapists, psychiatrists, and other health providers with your permission.
